Picks made today for fast track and NO turf

Race 1

5 – Path to Success – takes a drop in class and has the speed to get to the front end

4 – Mount Kenya – moves into the Camejo barn and working well for this start

Race 2

1 – Miss Priority – very sharp speed from the rail has been the winning ticket in these dirt sprints

7 – La Feme Jolie – should be able to track any early leaders and make a run under jockey Graham

Race 3

3 – Clarestown – moving turf to dirt but taking a drop in class – should get a favorable inside trip

2 – Texas Bluebonnet – can see this one on the lead here under leading rider Rodriguez from inside

Race 4

2 – Realitos – ran well at the level and distance – may have needed the race – comes right back here

7 – What Can I Say – takes a drop after a nice prep in last – jockey sticks to ride – improved effort today

1 – Mytown Myrules – firster for powerful team of Politi/Amoss – working very well – inside draw

Around the Track

A tough week for the Choices as a couple of our longshot selections had late leads only to get run down at the wire. The entry box is filling up though so the fields are getting a bit bigger and we may see turf racing this weekend which would be a welcome addition to the race offerings. An abbreviated holiday schedule this week with racing on Thursday, Friday and the staked stacked card on Monday the 26th. Here are the results for Chok’s Choices after the first few weeks of the meet:

1st Choice 143-33-21-22 = 23% - Win/53% In-the-Money- .85 Return on Investment for $1

2nd Choice 141-31-32-27= 22%- Win//64% In-the-Money – .75 Return on Investment for $1

Best Bet

Our Best Bet today will be in Race 7- #2 – My Little Dude – good run at Delta in last for a nice setup to improve here at a good price.

Good Luck and may they all come home safely.
