The New Orleans coroner has identified a woman shot to death in the 7th Ward on Friday night.
Joycelyn Bland, 40, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2400 block of Allen Street, one block from Hardin Park. Police were called at 8:58 p.m. Paramedics took her to a hospital, where she was declared dead.
No other information was immediately available.
