A woman was shot and killed Friday night in the 7th Ward, New Orleans police said.
She was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2400 block of Allen Street, one block from Hardin Park. Police were called at 8:58 p.m.
Paramedics took her to a hospital, where she was declared dead.
It was the ninth killing of a woman in New Orleans in about six weeks.
