Photos: Memorial Day commemorated at National WWII Museum
The National WWII Museum's commemorates Memorial Day on Monday, May 29, 2023. WWII Gold Star daughter Dolores Milhous told stories about her father, James Robinson Jr., who was killed in action when she was 2-years-old. Robinson was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his service in WWII. The event featured performances by the Victory Belles and the American Legion Post 377 Band, a presentation of a POW/ MIA table, remarks by Milhous, and the playing of taps.
